About them
From Vision to Infrastructure
Throughout my professional journey, I have conceived and led projects that introduced new methodological, strategic, and institutional frameworks in areas where none previously existed.
Each initiative reflects a distinct dimension of my work, ranging from forensic innovation and strategic risk analysis to civic empowerment and geopolitical insight, but all share a common foundation: independence, analytical depth, and strategic clarity.
What unifies these projects is their evolution from conceptual vision to operational infrastructure: from research laboratories to intelligence capabilities, from civic platforms to governance-oriented frameworks.
Together, they form a coherent ecosystem aimed at strengthening accountability, resilience, and informed decision-making across digital and geopolitical domains.
Where Purpose Meets Method
Each project represents a deliberate response to a concrete risk, shaped by method rather than urgency alone. These initiatives were born to address structural gaps (where governance, evidence, or accountability were missing) rather than to follow trends or replicate existing models.
Refined through forensic rigour, strategic analysis, and long-term vision, they are designed to question systems, anticipate escalation, and quietly reshape decision-making frameworks.
Across civic, institutional, and intelligence contexts, what unites them is a commitment to method, responsibility, and impact.
BRIXIA FORENSICS INSTITUTE
Brixia Forensics Institute was established in 2008 following a public startup competition by Regione Lombardia, where it ranked among the top 10 out of over 400 entries. Over more than 17 years, it operated at the forefront of digital forensics and evidentiary interpretation, providing expert witness services, investigative analysis, and structured support in electronic evidence and system strategy.
Brixia’s work contributed decisively to the spread of digital forensic culture within legal and institutional ecosystems, through collaborations with courts, universities, and national training programmes. Its legacy endures today in Toralya’s methodological foundations, linking forensic precision with governance-relevant insight and accountability.
Founded in 2019, Donne Con Lo Scudo is a civic initiative focused on digital safety, autonomy, and protection for women, young people, and structurally exposed groups. It combines legal literacy, technological awareness, and critical education to foster agency, dignity, and resilience in hostile digital environments. From this initiative emerged Alter Eva, an AI-powered voice for digital self-defence offering tailored guidance and response mechanisms where institutional channels are slow or absent. From 2026 onward, Donne Con Lo Scudo will concentrate specifically on AI-driven threats affecting women and vulnerable subjects, and on AI governance frameworks aimed at protecting such groups. This includes the analysis of algorithmic amplification of abuse, automated harassment, deepfake-enabled violence, and the governance responsibilities required to ensure accountability, safeguards, and effective protection in digital ecosystems.
JEOPARDIES
Jeopardies is an independent research project designed to explore how cybersecurity intersects with geopolitical tensions, infrastructural dependencies, and global power asymmetries, with particular attention to how artificial intelligence reshapes strategic competition and state behaviour. It reframes digital risk not as a purely technical function, but as a form of exposure to AI-enabled power projection, influence operations, and escalation dynamics across critical infrastructures.
Since March 2025, I have contributed to this initiative through analytical essays published by the Centro Studi Machiavelli, focusing on cyber geopolitics, hybrid conflict, and global cyber strategy. Jeopardies stands out for its integration of policy-oriented reflection with AI governance analysis, examining how automated decision-making, algorithmic advantage, and asymmetrical AI capabilities challenge traditional frameworks of deterrence, responsibility, and international stability in today’s digital contest for power.
Toralya is an independent AI research and advisory initiative launched in 2025, focused on governance, accountability, and executive decision-making in environments shaped by AI-amplified risk.
It provides research-driven analysis and governance-oriented insight to help organisations and institutions understand how artificial intelligence reshapes risk exposure, decision authority, and oversight across complex
digital and financial contexts.
Rather than pursuing visibility or aligning with specific technologies or vendors, Toralya prioritises analytical rigour, independence, and decision relevance. Based in the United Arab Emirates with an international outlook, Toralya supports executive, legal, and regulatory stakeholders through structured research and advisory work designed to strengthen governance readiness, accountability, and informed judgement in AI-driven environments.
